What I love about this video by Joshua Mayo is that he sets beginners up to gain significant wealth with only $100! This is not a get rich quick video. It’s a video that sets you up to open multiple investment/savings accounts, build your financial knowledge and start thinking of ways to increase your net worth. It’s not so much the $100 that’s important about this video, but the mindset it’s trying to instill. Putting a few bucks into an investment account won’t make you wealthy in itself, but setting up an account that already has funds in it will make it much easier to invest more in the future. Likewise, learning about investing won’t make you instantly rich, but the right tips and insights can help you learn ways to grow your wealth.

Please note that the investment book he recommends in this clip is Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki. Though I’ve heard many great things about the book, I haven’t yet read it myself. The book that really spearheaded my investment journey was The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach. If you end up reading Rich Dad Poor Dad and find that it isn’t for you, give The Automatic Millionaire a shot. It contains a good amount of fluff in the beginning (and sounds a bit lame/cringy), but if you skip to the Latte factor portion you’re in for a real treat! I would not be where I am financially without that book. Hands down my favorite investment book of all time. Hope you enjoy the video!
