The reason I love TipRanks is because in a few short sentences they explain what happened in the stock market that day while providing the option to delve deeper! Not too long ago I faced a peculiar problem. I checked my investment portfolio and seen a fair amount of unexpected profits. I was thrilled and wanted to know, what exactly spurred this favorable turn of events. To my surprise, it was pretty difficult to locate a simple recap of what happened it the stock market that day. While there were TONS of amazing resources for investors that want to delve into the heart of the matter, it was pretty hard to find a free source that provided short and sweet recaps. Even the ones that claimed to be “summaries” were a little long winded. After stumbling onto TipRanks, more specifically, their Stock Market Today segment, I was quite pleased.

The TipRanks Stock Market Today segment starts off by providing “Story Highlights” that encapsulate major events that occurred in the market that day. These are contained to a couple of short (though sometimes clunky) sentences. For those that want to dig deeper, they provide inclusive summaries directly below their highlights. Each summary is updated multiple times throughout the day and contain a good chunk of information. I can’t speak on the rest of the TipRanks website as I have not read their other segments, but I can say this. Despite their sometimes clunky highlights, they do good job keeping me informed about major financial news. It’s only released during weekdays, so I’ve included a link to my favorite feature from last week:
