What I love about this video is that it combines multiple complex topics into easily digestible bits of information! In under 10 minutes, Moneybee teaches beginners how to login to a 401K account, the default investment structure for many accounts, the pros and cons of different investment strategies, how to select and adjust investments, how to begin investing for retirement with limited knowledge, and tips for making better investment choices. The real kicker is that she not only explains the process, she also demonstrates step by step how to make said changes using her own retirement account.

She uses Fidelity, so the steps you need to take may vary based on your provider. Despite this, much of the information she provides is transferable regardless of which company manages your 401K. This is a very light video that’s not weighed down by heavy investment jargon. It may not address every concern that new investors may have, but it does a wonderful job covering the basics and serves as a fantastic jumping off point for novice investors! This video can be extremely helpful for people who has no clue what to do with their account or how to save for retirement. Check it out!
