For those of you that don’t know, The Automatic Millionaire Workbook is a book that was created to compliment The Automatic Millionaire by David Bach. The reason I love this book is because it makes you do some digging to figure out what you want out of life and then determine how to make your financial dreams a reality. It does this by helping you create a set and forget investment plan that aligns with your dreams and works slowly over time. It’s very refreshing to see a financial workbook that isn’t riddle with get rich quick scams or trying to sell you on #hustleculture. As with The Automatic Millionaire, the workbook counter part does contain fluff and is extremely basic. If you can get past this, I think novice investors are in for a real treat with this one. As a side note, I found a video by Kevin Shen explaining why our lives are not like the movies. He goes over how we’re always chasing the next big thing instead of living in the now. I think combining Shen’s appreciate the here and now outlook with Bach’s passive plan for reaching your financial goals is a powerful combination. They both advocate enriching your life in simple ways while living in the present. Check it out!
